Product Availability Control policies
Clear terms for a responsible service.
These policies explain what the app processes, how Shopify billing works, and what merchants should know before relying on availability rules. Effective date: July 27, 2026.
Privacy Policy
Product Availability Control may process the Shopify store domain, installation and session information, authorized user details provided by Shopify, catalog and availability data needed to apply rules, merchant-configured buffers and schedules, billing status returned by Shopify, operational logs, and support communications.
We use this information to authenticate users, provide the app, enforce merchant-configured rules, run scheduled releases, verify subscriptions, secure and support the service, and comply with legal and Shopify requirements. We do not sell personal information, collect payment-card data, or request customer-list scopes. Shopify processes app subscription payments under its own policies.
Information may be processed by infrastructure providers used for hosting, networking, backups, security, and monitoring. We retain information only as reasonably necessary for service delivery, security, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and support. Requests may be sent to info@wichvision.com.
Terms of Service
Product Availability Control helps merchants control online purchase availability through quantity buffers, Store Only rules, scheduled releases, storefront messaging, and cart or checkout validation. It supplements Shopify and does not replace Shopify inventory records, backups, business controls, or merchant judgment.
Merchants are responsible for verifying products, variants, quantities, messages, dates, time zones, theme behavior, checkout rules, and compatibility with other apps before relying on the service. We regularly test and improve the app, but no software, integration, automation, network, or third-party platform is completely error-free or uninterrupted.
The app is designed not to delete products or directly reduce Shopify inventory quantities. Conflicts, configuration errors, platform changes, network failures, delayed jobs, or other events may nevertheless cause incorrect availability or delayed releases. Merchants should use the available trial to evaluate compatibility and maintain independent backups.
Billing & Cancellation
Shopify's hosted approval screen is the authoritative source for price, currency, taxes, trial eligibility, billing period, renewal, discounts, and subscription terms. Eligible new subscriptions may include a 14-day free trial. Shopify processes charges, invoices, payment methods, renewals, cancellations, refunds, credits, and prorations.
Merchants can manage or cancel subscriptions through Shopify Admin. Uninstalling the app and canceling a subscription may be separate Shopify actions. Billing questions can be sent to info@wichvision.com with the store domain and relevant charge details.
Data Retention & Deletion
Active sessions are retained while installed or until they expire or are revoked. App rules and store configuration are retained while installed and may remain for a limited recovery period after uninstall. Security and operational logs are retained for a limited period, while billing, legal, and support records may be retained as required by law.
After the applicable period, information is deleted or de-identified. Backup copies may remain until overwritten under the backup cycle. To request access, correction, deletion, or clarification, contact info@wichvision.com.
